Cybersecurity at EMCC
Our Cybersecurity program provides students with the technical skills they need for a rewarding career in information technology. And because EMCC is a National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) in Cyber Defense, Two-Year Education by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, we can offer a unique set of career-focused resources.

Classes are taught by instructors who currently work within the industry, using the latest technology, and sharing their personal knowledge and experience to prepare you to work in this very diverse industry that blends business and technology.
Core courses include fundamental knowledge and skills in system administration, network administration, IT management, and security compliance necessary to the practice of cybersecurity. Additionally, the program includes tracks to train technicians for cybersecurity employment with tracks in Network Security, Linux Systems Security, Microsoft Systems Security, and Critical Infrastructure Protection. Each track provides training toward industry certifications. In some tracks, it is possible to complete other comparable IT programs simultaneously.
When you enroll in a Cybersecurity program, you become part of the Networking Technologies Institute at EMCC, which helps students succeed through educational networks, scholarships, internships and other professional opportunities within their selected field of study.
