Paying for College

The Financial Aid Office at EMCC is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible students from federal, state, institutional, and private sources of funding. 

Located inside Komatke Hall of Estrella Mountain Community College, Veterans Services Center's mission is to help military members, veterans, and dependent students take advantage of the numerous educational opportunities by connecting them to their VA Education Benefits and any support services necessary for their academic, professional, and personal success.

Students must sign up for a payment plan by their due date. Payment plans require a $15.00 down payment and a $25.00 non-refundable enrollment fee for a total of $40.00 (due immediately). 

Students may pay tuition in full using a debit/credit card or checking/savings account online via Student Center; with a debit/credit card over the phone; with cash, check or credit/debit card in person to Student Business Services (SBS).

A Third Party Tuition Authorization (TA) is a written document notifying Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) of the intent by an outside organization or agency (third party) to pay part or all of a student’s tuition and fees at EMCC. The student is responsible for the balance of tuition and fees, if in the event, the organization/agency does not provide payment for the authorized amount.

MCCCD employees and their eligible dependents are able to take advantage of tuition waivers. Eligibility for tuition waivers, affidavits, or exemptions is established via state statute and Governing Board policy. Please review eligibility requirements at the link below.
