Advisory Board

The advisory board for our program consists of individuals and organizations based upon their respective fields of expertise. Members often serve both Estrella Mountain Community College and the greater Maricopa Community County College District (MCCCD), as part of an overall strategy to ensure that students are properly prepared upon entering the workforce.

As part of this strategy, MCCCD hosts a monthly meeting of the IT/Cybersecurity Industry Sector Collaborative, of which EMCC is an active member. Industries across Maricopa County rely on the IT/Cybersecurity ISC as their primary contact point for reaching out to the colleges to provide input to industry needs for consideration and action.
