Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet all the following criteria may be considered for membership in Beta Alpha Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society:

• Currently enrolled in at least 3 credits at Estrella Mountain Community College
• Completed at least 12 semester hours or more at the 100-level or above
• Earned a minimum Estrella Mountain Community College 3.50 cumulative GPA
• Received an invitation to membership from chapter office of Beta Alpha Xi
• Are free from campus or legal disciplinary action
• Paid a one-time, required membership fee

Both part-time and full-time students who have met all of the Eligibility Criteria are invited to become members.
