Maricopa Grant
The Maricopa Grant Program is offered to eligible Arizona high school students attending Maricopa Community Colleges in the Dual Enrollment Programs. Fall and Spring Tuition Assistance is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Notifications regarding your Maricopa Application Status will be emailed to your Maricopa Student Email. The Maricopa Grant will only cover the classes listed on the APPROVED Maricopa Grant Application.
Maricopa Grant Deadline: September 13, 2024.
All applications for tuition assistance must meet the following requirements.
1. Applicants must have completed the Admission to Estrella Mountain.
2. Students must show financial need by providing one of the following:
- Copy of 2023 federal tax form 1040 (no extensions considered), showing that the Adjusted Gross Income is less than the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services 2024 Poverty Guideline

- Award letter (dated within 12 months of application) of household member’s participation in any of the following benefits programs: Free or Reduced Lunch, Supplemental Social Security, Food Stamps, TANF, WIC or AHCCCS.
- Submit proof of United States Citizenship or eligible non-citizenship status (Click here for a complete list of acceptable identification documents).
3. Complete the online Maricopa Grant Application in order to be considered for this grant.
