Estrella Mountain’s ongoing institutional assessment efforts regularly employ the assistance of formal surveys designed to capture performance evidence.
Periodic distribution of national and campus developed surveys help provide timely feedback on current college progress and assist in evaluating peer comparison effectiveness measures. National surveys, including the Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) and Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE), offer valuable student feedback. The surveys also help the college evaluate academic, instructional and student support services from the student perspective and improve the teaching and learning environment.
