Kimberly Golis brings sixteen years of dedicated experience within the Business Services Department at Maricopa County Community College District. Her journey began at Paradise Valley Community College, where she served as a College Accounting Assistant, specializing in cashiering and student services. She then transitioned to Phoenix College, focusing on fiscal responsibilities such as purchasing and travel documents. Currently, as the Associate Vice President of Business Services at Glendale Community College, Kimberly leads a proficient team committed to various college functions, including Student Business Services, Purchasing, Travel, Payroll, Grants, Budgeting, and oversight of Auxiliary Services.
Passionate about higher education, Kimberly actively engages in strategic initiatives within the college community. She contributes her expertise to key teams such as the Technology Advisory Council, Integrated Resources and Planning Committee, Shared Governance Council, and the College Strategic Enrollment Management Committee. As a member of the President’s
Leadership Team, she collaborates with leaders across all departments, driving discussions on student success, budgeting, planning, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and assessment.
Kimberly played an integral role in Glendale Community College’s recent HLC accreditation, serving on the HLC Core Team, co-chairing the Criterion 5 team, and serving as the Master Writer for the Assurance Argument. Additionally, she served as one of the Tri-Chairs of the Strategic Plan Design Team that developed the Focus 2024 College Strategic Plan.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in English (with an emphasis in Literacy, Technology, and Professional Writing) from Northern Arizona University, Kimberly combines academic knowledge with practical experience. A lifelong learner, she continues to enhance her skills through various courses at Maricopa community colleges.

Ms. Leda Johnson
Ms. Leda Johnson
Leda Johnson is an Arizona native with over twenty-eight years of progressive leadership experience in higher education. She is a proud, first-generation college graduate who relied on financial aid and part-time jobs to achieve her educational goals. She understands the importance of access and success for community college students.
Her background includes administrative services-related roles in higher education, from for-profit universities to public community colleges. Ms. Johnson began her tenure at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) over twenty-two years ago. Throughout that time, she has held leadership positions, including the current role of Interim Associate Associate Vice President-Administrative Services (IAVPAS) for the past eight months, six years as Fiscal Services Director, eight years as the Director of College/Skill Center Fiscal Services, and eight years as the College Fiscal Services Manager. Additionally, Ms. Johnson has played crucial chair roles in district-wide initiatives such as the Maricopa Student Refund Program and the Seamless Student Experience.
As IAVPAS, Leda provides leadership and support to the Budget Office, Auxiliary Services, Human Resources, Fiscal Services, Receiving, and Student Business Services. She has demonstrated expertise in planning, directing, and implementing operational and capital budgets and developing long-term budget allocations within a multi-college system. She currently leads the College’s $45.3 million operational portfolio and has a successful track record of collaborating with stakeholders to identify additional revenue streams, like grants and alternate sources. Ms. Johnson is actively involved in professional organizations like the Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) to remain current and continuously improve.
Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. She is also a Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI-West) program graduate.
