Info on ESA
Arizona students can benefit from an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) as of 07/22/24.
What is an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)?
Empowerment Scholarship Accounts-- also known as ESAs-- are accounts funded by state tax dollars to provide options for the education of qualified students in Arizona. The ESA program allows parents of qualified students (usually K-12 students) to utilize public monies to cover multiple education expenses, including tuition, fees, and required textbooks at a community college, public university, or accredited private postsecondary institution. View eligibility requirements here.
With the ESA program, the money that would pay for that student’s education in a neighborhood school follows that student to whichever school the parents choose for their child.
**A reminder to students and parents, although you may receive an ESA/ClassWallet Approval email, those funds do take time to be received by the college. Please forward your ClassWallet Order Receipt confirmation email to SBS@estrellamountain.edu. Student Business Services will need to manually notate the student's account to secure enrollment until ESA funds are received. **
