This event explores the historical significance of Nepohualtzintzin, a MesoAmerican abacus.

Discover how this ancient tool has influenced mathematical education and self-identity for children in Mexico. Gain insights into fostering a sense of belonging in the classroom, empowering academic success.

The session will also shed light on current data from OPIE regarding students identifying as Hispanic/Latino/Latina at EMCC.
